Welcome to My Site

Because of the nature of the work that I do, it really is necessary that I have some kind of a personal web site. This is as opposed to the internal intranet web site the I work on with the other people in my group.

I have tried to give my site a flavor of the kinds of things that I do, some details about projects I work on and some things that are important to me.

In terms of the projects that I have listed under the projects area, these are not all the details of these projects, but should serve as a quick reference to the kinds of work that I like to do and be involved in.

Snoop around here, if you like what you see, tell me. If you want to see other information tell me that too.

What's New

My friend Steve Eaton has moved to Logan Utah. He has continued to write his humor column for The News Tribune. I have created a web site for Steve to share his unique sense of humor with the rest of the world. We hope to help Steve become a widely known syndicated columnist.

What's Up Lately

Two new grand children! JR surprised us by driving to Las Vegas on September 1 to marry Heather. They were planning an October wedding but he decided to listen to Dad when I asked "why wait?". Both Becky and I are thrilled with Heather and her two young children.

On August 15 I stood on summit of Mount Rainier for the second time. This time it was with my scouts. We had trained very hard for this from early spring. It was a very rewarding experience that I enjoyed every minute of. I have another group of young men anxious to go again in 2010. My friend, Darren Jones, got me on another City League ski racing team so I will be spending Friday nights through mid March ski racing.

Ben continues to do well in chiropractic school. He is in his third and final year and is anxious to really start learning technique. Katie is a full time Mom for Emma and is doing well at building a Mary Kay business.

Rosie is still teaching 7th grade science in Lehi. Brian had an internship with a company in Germany last summer. Rosie joind him after school was out (with Allison) and really enjoyed the experience. They came home from the summer abroad with a souvenier which will be born next spring. Brian is finishing his thesis and looking forward to another graduation in April.

Becky is thrilled with the new additions to our family and is planning to join Emily as a BYU student next spring..

Emily has been accepted into the Marriott School of Management at BYU and is studying business. She is getting most anxious to graduate.
