Welcome to My Site
Because of the nature of the work that I do, it really is necessary that I have some kind of a personal web site. This is as opposed to the internal intranet web site the I work on with the other people in my group.
I have tried to give my site a flavor of the kinds of things that I do, some details about projects I work on and some things that are important to me.
In terms of the projects that I have listed under the projects area, these are not all the details of these projects, but should serve as a quick reference to the kinds of work that I like to do and be involved in.
Snoop around here, if you like what you see, tell me. If you want to see other information tell me that too.
What's New
My friend Steve Eaton has moved to Logan Utah. He has continued to write his humor column for The News Tribune. I have created a
web site for Steve to share his unique sense of humor with the rest of the world. We hope to help Steve become a widely known syndicated columnist.
What's Up Lately
Two new granddaughters!
Rosie and Katie were both expecting in July. The doctors said Rosie would be first and Katie a week later. As it turned out Katie gave birth to Emma Kathrine McKee about a week before Rosie delivered Allison Rebecca Thornock. Both sets of mothers and fathers are extremly proud parents. There are lots of photos of our beautiful granddaughters in the photos section of this site.
At 7:50 AM on June 23, Emily and I stood on summit of Mount Rainier. We had trained very hard for this from the moment she got home from school. It was an incredible experience and one we both enjoyed every minute of. I can hardly wait to go again. I will be leading our 16 and 17 year old scouts to the summit of Mount Rainier this summer. My friend, Darren Jones, got me on another City League ski racing team so I will be spending Friday nights through mid March ski racing.
Ben continues to do well in chiropractic school. He is in his second year and is anxious to really start learning technique. Katie is taking a break from her job at the bank to be a full time Mom for Emma.
Rosie will be teaching 7th grade science in Lehi again this fall. Brian graduated Cum Laude with his degree in Physics and has immediately starter into grad school at BYU.
Becky is thrilled with the new additions to our family and continues to be very involved in Junior Miss.
Emily had finished her Sophomore year at BYU with outstanding marks. BYU has given her another scholarship for the school year and she has used part of it on a semester in London. She is/was reluctant to come home, she thoroughly enjoyed her 3 month adventure in Europe.
JR is now selling mobile phones for Cingular while completing his last semester at BYU. JR is re-aquainting himself with his passion for skiing, working very hard at being Makayla's Dad and planning on graduating in April.
