Things to do before the clinic:

Come to class ready to explain 6a of merit badge - Give an example of each of the following in relation to how energy from an atom can be used: nuclear medicine, environmental applications, industrial applications, space exploration, and radiation therapy. For each example, explain the application and its significance to nuclear science.

Please limit class size to 12 students.

This class will be held over two days.  Both sessions must be attended to earn the merit badge at the clinic.  Saturday is the Class Room portion and Tuesday is the Field Trip portion.

Field Trip will be on Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Harrison Medical Imaging Lobby in Port Orchard.  The address is:  450 South Kitsap Boulevard, Suite 110, Port Orchard, Washington 98366 (see location in google maps).   maps.google.com/maps

Things to bring to the clinic:
  • Pen and Pencil
  • Notepad
