This will be a two hour class for all scouts that have reached the rank of "Star" or "Life".  Parents are invited to attend.

There is a lot to do in the transition from Life to Eagle.  This session will help you understand the advancement requirements, deadlines, mandatory tasks and detailed actions that lead to your "National Court of Honor"    We will discuss the transition process and provide you with guidance (knowledge and right answers) that will help you accomplish a smooth transition.

The Eagle Package session will address the following topics:
*  Planning a successful transition to Eagle Scout; basic guidance on goal setting, tasks and time management to achieve that goal.  This is a fifteen minute real world accomplishment.

*  Auditing you Advancement Record; an important online process to verify that your official record includes correct rank advancement and current merit badge completion records.  This is vitally important for every Scout and should be done twice; once early in the transition process and again before submitting the eagle application.  The process is simple, fast and web based.

*  The Eagle Leadership Service Project:  Selecting, planning, reviews and approvals, accomplishing the work, completing the project workbook, reporting the project to Good Turn for America,  recognizing project contributors.

*  The Eagle Application;  We will discuss how to use your verified advancement record to fill out information fields on the application.  Do's and Don'ts that will prevent delays and speed up Council's verification of application information and granting permission to conduct the Eagle Board of Review.

*  Letters of Reference.  We discuss the need for reference letters, when and how to request letters, where to send the letters and how the letters are used at the Eagle Board of Review.  We discuss your responsibilities to acquire letters of reference.

*  The Eagle Board of Review:  When, where, preparation details and YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES for conduct of the review board.

*  The Eagle Court of Honor:  We will discuss scheduling, planning, and the details, (Do's and Don'ts) of one of the best days in your life.

*  Information on the National Eagle Scout Association and on applying for Eagle Scout Scholarships.
